Advanced Image Search - Usage Rights ->Labeled for reuse
Your results will only include images labeled with a license that allows you to copy and/or modify the image in ways specified in the license
Search in the Web for the keyword - then expand the Show Options. Listed toward the bottom is, Sites with Images. This will display the images from the search.

Site:Google will restrict the results to the type or specific websites in the domain. Example: site:gov obama or site:www.whitehouse.gov obama

Research resources - includes journal and conference papers, theses and dissertations, academic books, pre-prints, abstracts, technical reports and other scholarly literature from all broad areas of research. It also includes court opinions and patents.
Search through Picasa for images that can be reused as noted by the Copyright notation. In addition can limit search to size, face, etc. Can also search by tags.
Can use to upload pictures from school used for school publications, then tag photos with captions and faces and search for an event to view. The pictures can be stored in a private album or public.

Reader:http://reader.google.com - tool for gathering, reading, and sharing all the interesting blogs and websites you read on the web.
http://www.google.com/ig - Create a Google page that displays a variety of tools in addition to the search engine. Use this as your classroom start page.
Either create an account or don't delete your cookies. If you don't sign in, your iGoogle page is saved just on your computer.
Rather than adding too many things to your page which can make it load slowly and increase the chance of browser crashing. instead create multiple tabs (e.g. one for games, another for RSS feeds, etc).
Most of the time when you type in a name for your tab, it will automatically add content, depending on the tab's name. Uncheck the "I'm feeling lucky" box if you'd rather start from scratch and add your own gadgets.
